Wow! Mike meet Alex Albrecht. My podcasting worlds collided.

  2. keith w cunningham Says:

I think it should be fairly obvious to anyone that Crank would be a golden marmoset and Mike would be a cape buffalo.

  3. Taber Says:

Actually I have not seen Premonition, but my guess would be that it’s dumb. Not because of Sandra Bullock, who looks like she just got out of bed in most of her recent movies, but because it looks too derivitive of other movies. I recommend seeing The Jacket with Adrien Brody and The I Inside with Ryan Phillippe, both similar time twisting tales that are actually quite good.

  4. Will J Says:

If Torchwood is the disc I think it is its the preview to the new BBC series that spun-off of Doctor Who that deals with the British government department that collects Alien artifacts for military use. Think X-files meets Eureka.

  5. G. Noel Gross Says:

    Collie Crank?

    that’s … really … creepy.

  8. Will J Says:

In an animated world Crank would be a generic brown squirrel, and Mike would be a Saint Bernard (with the brandy barrel optional) or whatever-the-hell Marmaduke is/was.

  9. keith w cunningham Says:

    Marmaduke is a Great Dane.

  10. mellon Says:

thanks for the mention, norton. (you too crank, i’ve been listening to old episodes and heard the one where you mentioned reading the pdf of the first issue of gearhead).

hope you guys dig on the gearhead, and if you didn’t… don’t be afraid to say so.

and that collie crank is creepy as all fuck.

  11. crank! Says:

Ok, after I got over my initial shock of me as a collie, I started to wonder …. Noel, do you have a furry crush on me? Then I wondered if you’d dug up any Key West yet … don’t you, by some degree of relation, have a contact with Fisher Stevens that you could get a copy of the eps? We must see Key West again.

Will J … I knew what Torchwood was in general … I watched the first season and dug it …. I was just wondering what that DVD Mike gave me was … now I know it was just promo clips of that and Robin Hood, which I also enjoyed.

Kevin, I’m really digging Gearhead … there’s some spots where I got a little lost but overall it’s been good so far. I’ll stick to my claim that, as far as the covers go (different colours), the covers remind me of what I like about BWS.

    crank!

  12. mellon Says:

    thanks, crank.

yeah, it’s me and the writer’s first work. it was definitely a learning curve. i learned a lot about doing 22 page books, and he learned a lot about writing them. thanks for the BWS comparison, the covers for issues 1 and 3 were painted over my pencils/his inks by the inker, ed herrera. I’d love to take credit for that, but that’s his genious on the cover colouring.

  13. DawnOwar Says:

Excuse me for being behind…. Everyone knows the reason he calls himself “Yngwie J. Malmsteen” is so that you don’t get him mixed up with all the other Yngwie Malmsteens.

  14. crank! Says:

It’s true … and so you know that he’s the one that doesn’t like doughnuts.

    crank!
