Hey guys, glad your move went okay Taber.
Here are some more documentaries that that listener might want to check out:
-Don’t Look Back – A 60’s documentary about Bob Dylan’s tour in England, definitely a must see for film and music
fans. If you’ve seen the recent biopic I’m Not There, then you’ll see this film’s influence on filmmaking for sure.

-The Devil and Daniel Johnston – Another great film about a musician, but it’s both funny and heartbreaking

-DiG- a film about the Dandy Warhols and the Brian Jonestown Massacre, it’s kind of like King of Kong but with rock bands. (you can also watch it instantly on Netflix, which is cool)

-Overnight – A must see for fans of the Boondock Saints, a film that shows the making and unmaking of a film and it’s director. (you can also watch it instantly on Netflix, which is cool)

Stone Reader – A film about a book that’s been out of print for years, and it kind of becomes this amazing story about an author that lost himself and a filmmaker who tries to find him. (Another instant watch!)

In all seriousness, I highly recommend Inside Deep Throat.

And for a look into Taber’s future (if movies replaced music): Mayor of the Sunset Strip

  4. Will J Says:

    Hey Crank… no outro musik?

Just cut the recording and shove it out the door?! Wow you taking editing tips from the way Mike Norton ended his calls from the 24 hour podcast?

  5. Gordo Says:

Hey Taber, I grew up with Shakeys Pizza and remember it fondly. Banjos, boaters and stripey uniforms! Don’t remember if the pizza was actually good tho…
