I may be Canadian, but even I’ll be the first to admit that a LOT of Canadian TV programs are terrible. Feel free to slag on whatever ones you’d like. I’m still listening. You can’t get rid of me that easily…

  2. Spooky Says:

Happy fifth (pod)birthday to Crank and Mike, Taber, Jenny, pugs and the two guys that step in when Crank and Mike are too tired to do the podcast, but motivated enough to put one up!

PS: Alley bear lurks in the shadow with a funny birthday hat on! TWIST! What is Crank going to do about that?!

Mike could always take Moe up to Flint, MI. and after a visit with the mayor, Moe’s problems will all be over. Buy Mikes stuff so he doesn’t have to take Moe to Flint!

I’d also point out that Beast Legends has finished its run on History Television Canada already. You must have missed the Francis Manapul interview on Word Balloon where he says that experience speed sketching at cons came in really handy on the show, so Mike is further along the path than he thinks.

Bones airs on FOX, the network that demanded that Joss Whedon put back all the suck into the second season of Dollhouse after the DVD first season implied that he was bringing out the awesome.

Happy Birthday, boys! I doubt you’ll go five more years ;)

Happy fifth gentlemen! I’ve been listening since 2005 and it’s one of a few podcasts that I look forward to every week.

Crank, I never watched Lois and Clark when it was on. I’ve been watching it on NetFlix instant and It’s horrible but I can’t stop watching it. Actually something true to the oldschool goofiness of the Superman.

You should arrange to get the Around Comics guys back on as guests sometime. I miss those guys.

  6. Leigh Webb Says:

thanks for five years guys, the podcast I look forward to the most each week.

  7. Fil Silva Says:

Thanks for all the good times guys, heres to another fifty years. On a sidenote, I’m getting a 4400 vibe from the Event so I’m gonna stick to it I think.

  8. crank! Says:

Thanks for the kind words and for listening.

    Or not listening.

Or listening but pretending not to.

    crank!

  9. Henrik J Says:

    Happy 5th birthday Crankcast!

  10. David D. Says:

Happy 5th Birthday, and thanks for all the great, laid-back entertainment! Selfishly, I hope you keep doing it long past the point where you hate and dread doing it (which may be already).
