Inspired by actual events…i think mitch hedberg put it best when he said “that story has inspired me to write a story about a gorilla”

Is that a euphemism?

I also love the dentist. I hate the money aspect of it, but there’s something amazing about having your whole head vibrate when they’re using the bigger bits and you feel no pain. When else will you get that experience? I know, weirdo…

It’s a shame about Zombie Strippers, because conceptually it has such great potential to be a fun bad movie. You know what it was missing? Christopher Lambert, that’s what. Imagine Lambert vs. Zombie Strippers….now that, is a movie.

mike,
thanks for the shoutout. i’m sure i’ll make it on your show someday.
crank, besides covering marshall crenshaw, the new monkeys first single was a cover of a song call “burning desire” by the illinois band THE ELVIS BROTHERS. if you’re not familiar with them look on youtube. they were awesome(the elvis brothers, not the new monkeys)! have fun moving, better you than me!

I’ve heard nothing but trouble about U-Haul, and experienced it vicariously through my friends. Things like you book a truck for a specific date and time and one isn’t available and they don’t care. And when a truck does come available, turns out it’s across town. They have the name recognition, so people have the tendency to call them first, but it seems they only ever do it once.

This show was inspired by true events…
I think if you lower the bar a lot, Zombie Strippers might still be a fun movie. Probably not but I don’t want to discourage anyone from watching it themselves.
Andy, you’re saying the New Monkees weren’t awesome? hah! I’ll check out the Elvis Brothers.
I’ve used UHaul before, even for the move out here, and they were fine then. I don’twhat’s up with them now. I’m just worried about finding a place to park the truck over-night since I have to pick it up a day early to be on time for the moving help.
Moving sucks.

Man, if I was in the area, I’d so be offering to help. Oddly enough, I actually love helping people move. Not pack or unpack, but carrying boxes in and out, I enjoy it. Maybe I should quit my job in tech and start a moving company.

No worries Jason, I’m getting helped by moving guys already… at least for the loadup.
After getting laid off from DDP, I almost considered landscaping; It seemed like a nice uncomplicated change of pace from troubleshooting software and hardware and maintaining websites and working with tech junk in general.
Then I remembered I don’t actually like to be out in the sun, so I took up lettering.
