Regarding the Falling Skies scene you described, it sounds like a shot from the last episode of Dark Skies. Perhaps this is the show you were trying to recall.
Of course, I should note that I could wrong since I haven’t seen Falling Skies yet and I haven’t watched Dark Skies in ten or so years.

Thanks for the offer, but I’ll pass. Perhaps you should digitize the intern (think: Tron) and email him to Bill Duke.
