I’m looking forward to the XBL bug fixes. Their driving me crazy.

  2. Steve Says:

I just saw via Twitter that Norton is having issues w/ the XBL patch. Just one more confirmation that all is right in the world.

  3. Wayne Hagel Says:

So where exactly do I get my “What Would Tom Katers Do?” T-Shirt? Come on guys, you know people will pay money for WWTKD merchandise.

  4. G. Noel Gross Says:

Jesus, Mike pooped all over Crank this week!

    Never enough Rutger Hauer talk.

  5. Fil Silva Says:

Seaquest, that was a good show Crank! though it went downhill as soon as Michael Ironside became the captain.

  6. Fil Silva Says:

Second post because I just heard the Fatherland talk, its a great book Crank! which I’m sure you would enjoy.

@Wayne: WWTKD? He’d sue us for merchandising him without giving him a cut!

@Noel: eww. Though you’re right, there’s never enough Rutger Hauer talk.

@Fil: I like the first season of Seaquest a lot, the second was really shaky though. It’s wierd, but I kinda thought it was getting back on trak by the last episode of S3. More like the first season, but less scientific.

As you could tell, I was having a hard time explaining Fatherland, mostly due to the confusion in my own brain as to what it was all about exactly. I can’t figure out why yopu would go the length of creating an alternate history world just to expose the same thing that happened in our world as the big plot device. There wasn’t a lot of alternate history really involved in the story itself. It was wierd, but enjoyable.

    crank!

I just saw Bruce Campbell speak at a theater here in Toledo after a showing of his new movie “My Name is Bruce”. The movie was pretty funny. Lots of in jokes.
He mentioned Crank. He said “Some Crank tried to get me in their movie…” I didn’t know you two were chums.

Well, there are also undertones that Joe Kennedy and other american companies were doing business with the Nazis even though they knew what was going on in Europe. The Japanese never got involved in the war thus American never entered it and the German war machine overran Europe. I don’t know whats it called but around the time of Hitler’s 100th birthday an alternative history movie came out that centered on an assasination attempt on Hitler during his centennial celebration.
