Yeah, Richmond from IT Crowd is Vince Noir on Mighty Boosh. The seasons where they aren’t working at the zoo are pretty rad because its even more nonsensical than the first one was. The duo on Mighty Boosh also are in a band second season, its just a more surreal version of Conchords. Really good.
And yeah Flight of the Conchords rule too.

I can think of two homemade movie sites that I seem to recall were mentioned on the show. One is Blame Society, the other was some weird kid making fantasy movies that were painful to watch. It’s probably neither of those.
Also, I just heard the words “Warren Ellis” and “G.I. Joe” in the same sentence, and now I feel all tingly. Maybe I should see a doctor.

Crank,
I saw this on Amazon and thought it would be of interest to you:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0024FADAQ/
The Last Starfighter 25th Anniversary Edition
Needless to say, it’s on my buy list :)
Really enjoyed the discussion about the general comic audience.
Once again, many thanks for producing such a great show.
Best,
