Where did you find that clip for your intro?

  2. Chris Neeson Says:

Found it! This kid is nuts!

  3. G. Noel Gross Says:

    G.I. Joe talk!?! Awesome-o.

  4. crank! Says:

Yeh here’s one clip on ewwtube.

The GIJoe talk was all speculation, except that I am lettering the last issue now.

    So sad,
    crank!

  5. Steve Says:

I sure hope Mike doesn’t hurt Chris Samnee, he drew me a Flexo picture once. But he is a jerk.

Naw, I’m just kiddin. Samnee’s pretty cool.

    Crank,

Good luck on the move. I was in charge of moving and setting up my employer’s office to a new location, so I know working with movers and packing are not a fun tasks.

Also, I enjoyed the Joe talk. If you really don’t have anything to talk about one week, perhaps you could do a retrospective look at the various series and share some of the cool or funny behind-the-scene stories.

As always, an excellent show, and a Mike Makes Right shirt would be pretty cool. I like Mike’s art :)

    Best,
    David Thornton

Mike won’t hurt anyone Steve, he’s a big ol’ whatever those things are that don’t hurt things…

Thanks, David. We’ll probably reminisce more once I move and we get all nostalgic for the days when we were in a tiny office above a 7-Eleven.

    crank!

Hey I like Mike’s art too! In an age where the norm seems to be about tracing frames from DVDs and over-rendering everything to death (then adding a layer of crosshatching on top of that) seeing nice clean art that is modern but inspired by the classics is great! And Mike can draw, which is not easy to achieve and not that prevalent in the comic industry :)

  9. JasonT Says:

Mike, you’re going to the Superman Celebration? Awesome. I really wanted to go this year for all the anniversaries, but sadly, I don’t think the money is there. I’ll just have to be happy with Wizard World Chicago.

On the topic of dubbed in Spanish films: I have this VHS tape of Soylent Green dubbed in Spanish of TV from the mid 90’s that is awesome, because it doesn’t have subtitles. Sweet Spanish Heston!
