I hate cats. I already have enough stressful relationships without having to include one with an animal.

Started with 2 cats … by marriage. Now we have four. Named one Mr. T. So it’s cool, foo’.

As a film projectionist I can confirm for everyone that booth gremlins are a larger problem than people realize!

Keith speaks the truth, I went to a movie just yesterday and the little bastards got control of the booth in the third reel… I never did find out what happened to that talking rat.

What I love about that Gremlins 2 clip is the implication that Hulk Hogan may just be hanging out in your suburban movie theater, without any fanfare or fame. It makes it a very low-status cameo.

No 24 hours in the crank compund … my neighbors would have kittens.
They may already.
Sean, when did I miss the original offer?
My poor floppy headset …

in a very bizarre moment for me, when Crank mentioned the Little River Band I was on the train heading home, and the train was stopped at Little River, the small country town between Geelong and Melbourne that the band got its name from.
and Gremlins 2 rocks, especially when they did a different Gremlins in the machine for the original video and TV release.

Chiming in on the Gremlins 2 discussion. I own the novelization of the film, and even in the book, “The Brain” Gremlin attacks the author and takes over for a few pages at the same point in the film where Hulk Hogan would have appeared.

I don’t remember ever seeing it.
Mike’s quote on it, “It was stupid. At some point it realized it.”

Your 24 hour podcast is going down the same week as the MCBA Fallcon in Minnesota, any chance on getting any of the creators there to phone in or whatever from the con floor?

Hey guys i’m a long time listener and love the show. i’m an aspiring artist and i have some questions for mike…just curious about comic book artists wages. i’m wondering what it takes to be a $200 a page guy working for the big two, i’ve heard that starting page rates are lower than this but i’m wondering how long it takes and how much talent is required to make about that much money. i’m not posing these questions cuz i want to get rich off of comics i’m basically just curious about my future profession. any insightful info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Ty (PS- i downloaded Tim Seeley’s how to be a comic book artist book from pullboxonline.com, I really liked it so if you could pass on a Thank you to him from me I’d appreciate it)
